Rubicon Japan Trust shares on trading halt

SYDNEY, March 18 (Reuters) - Shares in Rubicon Japan Trust (RJT.AX), an Australian property investor, were placed on trading halt on Tuesday pending an announcement, the Australian stock exchange operator said.

No further details were given.

Rubicon said earlier on Tuesday it was not in a position to meet a A$30 million ($28 million) margin call expected on Wednesday from National Australia Bank Ltd (NAB.AX). Its shares fell 57 percent before the halt. ($1=A$1.09) (Reporting by Jonathan Standing)
