Nexus says intends to accept Roc Oil offer for Anzon

SYDNEY, Oct 1 (Reuters) - Australia's Nexus Energy Ltd (NXS.AX) intends to accept Roc Oil Ltd's (ROC.AX) offer for the shares Nexus holds in Anzon Australia Ltd AZA.AX, the company said on Wednesday.

Nexus has 71.3 million Anzon shares, amounting to a 19.2 percent stake, built up as part of a failed takeover bid earlier this year.

Roc's A$350 million ($278 million) bid for Anzon was agreed by Anzon last month. ($1=A$1.26) (Reporting by James Thornhill)
