ANZ to appoint Christine Ip as China CEO-sources

SYDNEY/HONG KONG, Jan 6 (Reuters) - Australia and New Zealand Banking Group (ANZ.AX) will appoint Christine Ip as its new China chief executive, according to two sources close to the matter.

China

One of the sources told Reuters on Tuesday Ip will join Australia's fourth-largest lender later this month, replacing the group's current chief executive in China, Andrew McGregor.

Ip was previously head of consumer banking in China for Standard Chartered Plc (STAN.L).
