Telstra: broadband plan won't impact its business
SYDNEY, April 7 (Reuters) - Telstra Corp Ltd (TLS.AX), Australia's dominant telephone company, expects little short to medium-term financial impact on its business from a government plan to build a new A$43 billion ($31 billion) national broadband network.
"We look forward to having constructive discussions with the government at the earliest opportunity," Telstra Chairman Donald McGauchie said in a statement on Tuesday.
