Woodside says no contracted LNG cargoes refused
PERTH, May 1 (Reuters) - Customers of Woodside Petroleum Ltd (WPL.AX), Australia's second-largest oil and gas producer, have not refused any cargoes of liquefied natural gas (LNG) under long-term supply contracts, the firm said on Friday.
Woodside Chief Executive Don Voelte, speaking to reporters at the firm's annual meeting, also said Woodside was having no problem placing spot cargoes of LNG into the market, despite weaker demand because of the global recession. (Reporting by Fayen Wong; Editing by Mark Bendeich)
