PERTH, Aug 13 (Reuters) - Arrow Energy Ltd (AOE.AX), a coal seam gas producer in Australia, said on Thursday it was not aware of any Chinese interest and that it has not received any takeover offers.

Arrow, a partner with Royal Dutch Shell (RDSa.L), said it has held talks with various parties on its coal seam gas assets and while those discussions have included talks on a potential change of control, it was unaware if any change of control proposal was forthcoming.

It made the comments in response to a query from the Australian stock exchange on movements in its share price after a media report that Chinese interests had targetted the company. (Reporting by Fayen Wong)
