Australia's Fairfax flags modest profit growth in H2

SYDNEY, Nov 10 (Reuters) - Fairfax Media Ltd (FXJ.AX), an Australian newspaper publisher, sees modest earnings growth in the second half of fiscal 2010, the company told its annual shareholders meeting on Tuesday.

It also said earnings before interest, tax, depreciation and amortisation (EBITDA) fell 15 percent in the first four months of the current year from a year earlier. (Reporting by Denny Thomas;)
