Japan's Topix up 2 pct, led by exporters on yen

TOKYO, Aug 6 (Reuters) - Japan's Topix index rose 2 percent on Wednesday, led by exporters such as Toyota Motor (7203.T) and Canon Inc (7751.T) on a softer yen against the dollar after signals from the U.S. Federal Reserve that it is in no hurry to raise interest rates. As of 0343 GMT, the the broad Topix gained 2 percent to 1,273.19, and the benchmark Nikkei .N225 was up 321.88 points at 13,236.54. (Reporting by Taiga Uranaka)
