Nikkei up 2 pct, exporters lead gains on softer yen

TOKYO, Aug 6 (Reuters) - Japan's Nikkei average rose 2 percent on Wednesday, led by exporters such as Canon Inc (7751.T) and Honda Motor (7267.T) on a softer yen against the dollar. At 0048 GMT, the benchmark Nikkei .N225 was up 233.34 points at 13,148.00, while the broader Topix gained 1.3 percent to 1,264.10. (Reporting by Taiga Uranaka)
