KDDI 2006/07 profit to beat its estimate -paper
TOKYO, April 20 (Reuters) - KDDI Corp (9433.T), Japan's No. 2 phone operator, will likely book an operating profit of about 350 billion yen for the past business year, higher than the company's recently revised estimate, the Nikkei business daily said on Friday.
KDDI will also probably book double-digit growth in the current business year, the paper said.
KDDI has been boosted by a strong performance from the mobile phone business and an operating profit of 350 billion yen for the year ended in March would beat the company's January estimate of 342 billion yen and a Reuters consensus estimate of 347 billion yen from 18 analysts.
