Japan's Nikkei rises 2 pct as U.S. fears ease
TOKYO, March 6 (Reuters) - Japan's Nikkei share average rose 2 percent on Thursday after hitting a six-week closing low the previous day, with exporters such as Canon INc (7751.T) rising on a stabilising yen and easing concerns about a U.S. recession.
As of 0333 GMT, the benchmark Nikkei average .N225 rose 2.1 percent to 13,237.73. The broader TOPIX index was up 2.1 percent at 1,290.39. (Reporting by Taiga Uranaka)
