Mitsubishi Heavy has not received such an offer, a company spokesman said.

The Financial Times reported on Friday that France is preparing to sell up to 15 percent of Areva to strategic partners in Asia, the Middle East and elsewhere in a bid to raise around 2 billion euros ($2.8 billion) to fund the company's development. [ID:nLQ614590] (Reporting by Yuko Inoue)
