TOKYO, Oct 31 (Reuters) - Japanese Finance Minister Shoichi Nakagawa said on Friday the ministry has the means to intervene in the currency market, but he would not say if or when it would do so.

"I have many things in my pocket, but I won't comment on whether I will use them or when I would use them," Nakagawa told a luncheon meeting with media, in response to a question about the possibility of intervention. (Reporting by Yasuhiko Seki)
