Seagate CEO sees Japan hard drive consolidation

TOKYO, June 29 (Reuters) - The head of Seagate Technology STX.N STX.N, the world's largest maker of hard disk drives, said on Friday he expects consolidation among Japanese hard disk makers following the Western Digital Corp's (WDC.N) acquisition of Komag Inc. KOMG.O. o grow 10-15 percent in unit terms over the next 3 years, and that Seagate's own business would grow in line with the industry.
