Japan's Kan: want to work closely with BOJ

TOKYO, Nov 16 (Reuters) - Japanese National Strategy Minister Naoto Kan said on Monday the government hoped to communicate closely with the Bank of Japan so that they could work together to avoid deflation from deepening.

"I understand that as a whole, the BOJ won't exit monetary easing soon," Kan, who is also Deputy Prime Minister, told a news conference. (Reporting by Tetsushi Kajimoto and Leika Kihara)
