Daihatsu sees 2008 global sales at 1.059 mln units

TOKYO, Dec 17 (Reuters) - Daihatsu Motor Co (7262.T), the minivehicle unit of Toyota Motor Corp (7203.T), said on Monday it aims to sell 1.059 million vehicles worldwide in 2008.

Global production, which includes sales to other manufacturers, was seen at 1.47 million units next year.

Domestic sales of minivehicles were seen at 615,000 units.
