Hitachi sees sizable loss on Mexico plant closure

TOKYO, March 22 (Reuters) - Hitachi Ltd. (6501.T), Japan's biggest electronics conglomerate, said on Thursday it expects sizable extraordinary losses from the planned closure of a hard disk drive parts factory in Mexico.

The company also said hard disk drive sales volume may slow through June, but it aims for sales to pick up in the second half of 2007.
