Citigroup sells 315 bln yen in 3-yr Samurai bonds

TOKYO, Sept 9 (Reuters) - Citigroup (C.N) said on Tuesday it had sold 315 billion of three-year Samurai bonds with a 3.22 percent coupon.

The Samurai bonds -- yen bonds issued in Japan by non-Japanese entities -- were priced at par.

The bonds are scheduled to be issued on Sept. 30 and will mature on Sept. 30, 2011. (Reporting by Takefumi Ito and Naoyuki Katayama)
