Sterling strikes 2-month high vs dollar

TOKYO, April 6 (Reuters) - Sterling rose above $1.4900 GBP=D4 to its highest in two months on Monday driven by its gains against the yen, which has been hit by rising risk appetite.

Sterling rose as high as $1.4927 GBP=D4, its highest since Feb. 9 and up 0.6 percent on the day, according to Reuters data. (Reporting by Kaori Kaneko)
