Sharp: likely to beat LCD TV sales target in China

TOKYO, June 5 (Reuters) - The president of Japan's Sharp Corp (6753.T), Mikio Katayama, said on Friday the electronics maker's LCD TV sales in China are likely to exceed its target of 1.2 million TVs in the year to next March.

Sharp, the world's fourth-largest LCD TV maker, sold 1.04 million liquid crystal display TVs in China last business year.
