Taiwan's Fubon says welcomes Chinese investors

TAIPEI, June 1 (Reuters) - Fubon Financial (2881.TW), Taiwan's No.5 financial holding firm, on Monday said it would welcome Chinese investors to take up to a 20 percent stake in the company, in signs of closer business ties with China.

The firm also aims to raise investments in Taiwan stocks and properties by T$80 billion ($2.4 billion) this year, Richard Tsai, vice chairman of Fubon, told reporters on the sidelines of a business event. (Reporting by Faith Hung; Editing by Jonathan Hopfner)
