Russia says not timely to discuss new Iran sanctions
UNITED NATIONS (Reuters) - Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov said on Friday it was not the time to consider any new sanctions on Iran, which Western powers suspect is trying to develop a nuclear bomb.
We "continue to believe that it is not timely to consider at the ministerial or at any other level this proposal of new sanctions," Lavrov told a news conference at the United Nations.
