Production on the sixth season will begin in early 2009, with launch slated for the summer. The current season got off to a good start with co-star Jeremy Piven last month winning his third consecutive Emmy, for playing a slimy talent agent.

"Entourage" joins HBO's slate of 2009 series that includes the returning shows "Big Love," "Flight of the Conchords," "In Treatment" and "True Blood" as well as new drama "The No. 1 Ladies Detective Agency."
