With markets in chaos, G7 officials start meeting

WASHINGTON (Reuters) - A meeting of finance ministers and central bankers of the Group of Seven major industrialized nations got under way at about 2:15 p.m. EDT (1815) on Friday at the U.S. Treasury Department.
