E! takes party on the road with "Cabo"

LOS ANGELES (Hollywood Reporter) - E! Entertainment Television is bringing the party to Cabo San Lucas, Mexico, for its next unscripted series.

The cable network has greenlighted a reality competition, "Party Monsters: Cabo," that will feature nine party planners heading to an oceanfront to see who can throw the "ultimate party" for Hollywood celebrities including P. Diddy, Carmen Electra, Brody Jenner and Lil Jon.

The series will premiere on December 2.

Party planning has been a popular TV topic over the past few years, with series including Lifetime's "Top This Party," UPN's "Get This Party Started" and Discovery Channel's "Party Planner With David Tutera."
