LOS ANGELES (Reuters) - The Los Angeles Angels moved to replace Francisco Rodriguez by agreeing with reliever Brian Fuentes on a two-year contract, the team said on Wednesday.

    Sports

Fuentes, 33, is a left-handed closer who saved 111 games for the Colorado Rockies over the past four seasons.

Fuentes's contract with the Angels includes a club option for 2011, the team said on its website (losangeles.angels.mlb.com)

Rodriguez set a single-season record with 62 saves last season before leaving via free agency for a three-year deal with the New York Mets.
