    Mariska Hargitay suffers partially collapsed lung

    LOS ANGELES (Reuters) - "Law & Order" star Mariska Hargitay has suffered a partially collapsed lung, her representative said on Monday.

    But Hargitay will appear in all remaining episodes of her show, "Law & Order: Special Victims Unit" on U.S. network NBC, her representative, Gary Mantoosh, said in a statement.

    Mantoosh declined to say how Hargitay, 44, suffered the partially collapsed lung.

    Hargitay, who plays a detective on the show, was nominated for a Golden Globe award for best actress in a television drama, but she lost out on Sunday to Anna Paquin in the HBO show "True Blood."
