WASHINGTON (Reuters) - A US Airways passenger jet that crashed into New York's Hudson River on Thursday may have struck a bird or a flock of birds, aviation authorities said.
The Airbus A320 enroute from New York's LaGuardia Airport to Charlotte, North Carloina, crashed moments after takeoff, the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) said.
