Julianna Margulies playing "Good Wife" for CBS

LOS ANGELES (Hollywood Reporter) - Julianna Margulies will star in CBS' drama pilot "The Good Wife," playing a defense attorney married to a politician.

People

It's a familiar setting for Margulies, who played a fearless attorney on the short-lived Fox drama series "Canterbury's Law."

"ER" alumna Margulies is returning to the NBC medical drama that made her a household name. She is set to appear alongside former castmates Eriq La Salle, Noah Wyle and possibly George Clooney on the March 12 episode of the Emmy-winning series, set to end its 15-season run on April 2.
