    LOS ANGELES (Hollywood Reporter) - Jeanne Tripplehorn will star in the indie feature "Morning," which will mark the directorial debut of her husband, actor Leland Orser, who wrote the original screenplay.

    Laura Linney also is joining the cast, which includes Elliott Gould, Kyle Chandler, Julie White, Jason Ritter, Charlie McDermott and Orser.

    Tripplehorn will play a mother mourning the loss of her child, and Linney will portray a grief counselor.

    The feature was developed from a short film Orser wrote and directed.
