Sean "Diddy" Combs booked for "The Greek"

LOS ANGELES (Hollywood Reporter) - Elisabeth Moss, Sean Combs and Rose Byrne have joined the cast of the rock 'n' roll comedy "Get Him to the Greek."

Nicholas Stoller is directing the Apatow Prods. pic, which stars Jonah Hill and Russell Brand. Universal Pictures will release the film in 2010.

The script, which Stoller wrote, follows a fresh-out-of-college record company intern (Hill) who's hired to get an out-of-control rock star (Brand) from London to a gig at Los Angeles' Greek Theater, becoming introduced to an out-of-control life of hookers and drugs along the way.

Moss, the female lead, will play Hill's repressed girlfriend, a doctor. Combs will play Hill's boss, and Byrne is cast as Brand's ex-girlfriend, a Courtney Love-type rocker.

Moss, one of the stars of "Mad Men," is shooting the comedy "Did You Hear About the Morgans?," which stars Sarah Jessica Parker and Hugh Grant.

Combs recently did a two-episode stint on "CSI: Miami"

Byrne, who stars in FX's "Damages," can be seen opposite Nicolas Cage in "Knowing."
