    Microsoft search still growing with Bing: comScore

    SAN FRANCISCO (Reuters) - Microsoft Corp's share of Internet searches continued to grow for a second week after the introduction of its new search engine Bing, industry tracker comScore Inc said on Wednesday.

    ComScore said Microsoft's share of search result pages in the United States rose to 12.1 percent for the period of June 8-12, up from 11.3 percent in the June 1-5 period, and up from 9.1 percent in the work week prior to Bing's introduction.

    Bing had its full launch June 3 but was available to some users for a few days before that.

    In April, the last full month for which figures are available, comScore said Microsoft's sites took 8.2 percent of U.S. Internet searches, trailing Yahoo with 20.4 percent and Google with 64.2 percent.
