G20 to back fuel subsidy phase-out, no dates: source
PITTSBURGH (Reuters) - Group of 20 national leaders are set to agree to phase out subsidies for fossil fuels in the mid-term at the two-day G20 summit starting later on Thursday, but there will be no fixed dates for the change, a G20 diplomat said.
Leaders are also due to use "strong language" to describe how banks should award bonuses to employees but there will be no fixed limits on payouts, the diplomat said on Thursday, referring to a draft summit communique.
