Blast heard in Pakistani capital; no details

ISLAMABAD (Reuters) - A blast was heard at the Islamic University in Pakistan's capital, Islamabad, on Tuesday, TV stations and a police official said, but there were no immediate details of a cause or casualties.

Pakistan has been rocked by a series of bomb attacks by Taliban militants in the past two weeks and the army is involved in a major offensive against insurgents in South Waziristan.
