Anaheim's Wisniewski suspended for two games

TORONTO, Nov 2 (Reuters) - Anaheim defenseman James Wisniewski has been suspended for two games for "delivering a forearm blow" to the head of Phoenix forward Shane Doan, the NHL said in a release on Monday.

The incident occurred during the first period of Anaheim's 3-2 shootout loss to the Coyotes on Saturday. No penalty was assessed on the play.

Wisniewski will miss Anaheim's game on Tuesday against Pittsburgh and on Thursday against Nashville, both at home.
