Alyssa Milano to guest on "Castle"

LOS ANGELES (Hollywood Reporter) - Alyssa Milano, star of ABC's midseason comedy "Romantically Challenged," is doing double duty for the network.

The "Charmed" veteran has signed on for a guest stint on ABC's quirky detective drama "Castle."

Milano will play the ex-girlfriend of lead character Richard Castle (Nathan Fillion), a mystery novelist who works with the NYPD. Her appearance is sure to complicate the flirtatiously charged relationship between Castle and detective Kate Beckett (Stana Katic).
