Federer loses but goes through as Murray is eliminated
LONDON (Reuters) - World number one Roger Federer squeezed into the semi-finals of the ATP World Tour Finals despite a 6-2 6-7 6-3 defeat by Juan Martin del Potro on Thursday.
Del Potro also crept into the semis at the expense of Britain's Andy Murray, who earlier beat Fernando Verdasco in Group A, on percentage of games won in the three round-robin matches after the trio posted two wins apiece.
