US warns Abraxis BioScience about plant problems

WASHINGTON, Feb 15 (Reuters) - U.S. regulators have warned Abraxis BioScience Inc. ABBI.O about manufacturing problems at an Illinois plant, according to a letter released on Thursday.

The Food and Drug Administration letter to Abraxis, dated Dec. 18, 2006, said the issues "need more timely and comprehensive corrections than the actions you have proposed or taken."
