US court reinstates Teva herpes drug patent case
WASHINGTON, March 30 (Reuters) - A federal appeals court on Friday reversed a lower court ruling and reinstated a patent case filed by generic drugmaker Teva Pharmaceuticals Inc. (TEVA.O) (TEVA.TA), involving Novartis AG's (NOVN.VX) genital herpes drug Famvir.
The U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit said the U.S. district court in New Jersey erred when it dismissed Teva's lawsuit for lack of jurisdiction.
