WASHINGTON (Reuters) - Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton loaned her campaign $6.4 million (3.27 million pounds) from her own pocket in the past month, a campaign source said on Wednesday.

The personal loan, the second she has made to her campaign, comes as Clinton struggles to stay in the gruelling Democratic race against rival Barack Obama, who beat her in a North Carolina nominating contest on Tuesday. Clinton narrowly edged out Obama in Indiana.
