Philips confirms lighting unit outlook

AMSTERDAM, Sept 23 (Reuters) - Dutch Philips Electronics (PHG.AS)(PHG.N) said on Tuesday its lighting unit was on track to achieve its earning before interest, taxes and amortization (EBITA) margin target of 12 percent to 14 percent for 2010.

Philips, the world's biggest lighting maker, is hosting an analyst day for its lighting business.

The group also confirmed the unit's target for medium term average annual sales growth of around 6 percent on a comparable basis.
