KPN completes Getronics acquisition

AMSTERDAM, Oct 23 (Reuters) - Dutch telecoms group KPN (KPN.AS)KPN.N said on Tuesday it had completed the acquisition of Dutch computer services firm Getronics GTN.AS.

"KPN is now in control of the company following successful public offers for the ordinary shares and convertible bonds," KPN and Getronics said in a joint statement.

Shareholders and bondholders who have not yet accepted the offers made by KPN may still tender their Getronics shares and bonds until Nov. 5, it added.

Both firms reiterated there were expected synergies of at least 50 million euros ($71.03 million) per year as of 2009.
