Air France increases fuel surcharge

PARIS, Nov 13 (Reuters) - Air France said on Tuesday it was increasing its fuel surcharge due to the high level of fuel prices.

The unit of Air France KLM (AIRF.PA) said it was is increasing the surcharge by 2 euros per segment on short and medium haul flights and by 10 euros per segment on long-haul flights.

This increase is valid on tickets for trips from France issued as from Nov. 15.

Half of this increase will be withdrawn when the price of the barrel is stabilised over time below $85.

The remaining of the increase will be withdrawn as soon as the price of the barrel is stabilised over time below $80.
