FRANKFURT, April 18 (Reuters) - German pay-TV broadcaster Premiere PREGn.DE has received no signal from Rupert Murdoch that News Corp. NWSa.N plans to raise its stake in Premiere but its chief executive said such a step would be logical.

"I could see the sense in that," Michael Boernicke said on the fringes of a newspaper event on Friday. "But I absolutely don't expect it would go over 30 percent."

News Corp. recently raised its stake in Premiere to 22.7 percent.

Boernicke added that he was still interested in buying ProSiebenSat.1's (PSMG_p.DE) Sat.1 channel, and expected that ProSiebenSat.1 might reconsider its initial lack of interest in such a deal.

"In six to 12 months, the world will look completely different," he said.
