Best Buy backs year earnings forecast

ATLANTA, Aug 8 (Reuters) - Electronics retailer Best Buy Co. (BBY.N) said on Wednesday it still expects per-share earnings of $2.95 to $3.15 for the fiscal 2008 year.

The chain, which is holding an analyst meeting on Thursday, also said it expects full-year revenue of $39 billion, and growth of 3 percent to 5 percent in comparable-store sales.
