China's Giant Interactive IPO raises $886 mln

NEW YORK, Oct 31 (Reuters) - Giant Interactive Group Inc, a leading Chinese online game developer, on Wednesday raised $886.6 million with an initial public offering that priced well above a forecast range.

The 57.2 million offering of American Depositary Shares priced at $15.50 per ADS, compared with a forecast range of $12 to $14.

Underwriters were led by Merrill Lynch MER.N and UBS (UBSN.VX). (Reporting by Lilla Zuill)
