GE to sell about $100 mln worth of Genpact shares

NEW YORK, Dec 14 (Reuters) - Genpact Ltc. (G.N) India's largest, back office company by revenue, on Friday said that General Electric Co (GE.N) has agreed to sell about $100 million of Genpact common shares in a private transaction to an affiliate of a limited partner in one of Genpact's other shareholders.

Stocks

The shares will be subject to the same lock-up agreement that GE entered into with the underwriters of Genpact's initial public offering. No shares will enter the public trading market as a result of the transaction. (Reporting by Ilaina Jonas; editing by Carol Bishopric)
