Assured Guaranty sets $300 mln public offering

NEW YORK, Dec 17 (Reuters) - Assured Guaranty Ltd. (AGO.N) said on Monday it has agreed to sell 11.8 million of its shares in a public offering at $25.50 each, for gross proceeds of about $300 million.

The company will contribute proceeds from the offering to its reinsurance subsidiary, Assured Guaranty Re.
