Quebecor World extends rescue financing deadline

NEW YORK, Jan 16 (Reuters) - Quebecor World Inc IQW.TO on Wednesday extended the deadline for satisfying conditions on a C$400 million rescue financing agreement with Quebecor Inc and Tricap Partners Ltd.

Quebecor World's new deadline is January 20 instead of Wednesday, January 16.

The company said it continues to work on the plan with Quebecor Inc and Tricap, and "believes that the satisfaction of the conditions of such initiative would be in the best interests of the company and all its stakeholders." (Editing by Richard Chang)
