Aurizon Mines reports fatal accident at mine

NEW YORK, March 14 (Reuters) - Aurizon Mines Ltd (ARZ.TO) (AZK.A) said on Friday that a worker was fatally injured in an accident at its Casa Berardi gold mine in northwestern Quebec.

It said activity in the immediate vicinity of the accident has been suspended, but that mining and milling operations are continuing as planned.

The worker was an employee of Dumas Contracting Ltd, Aurizon said. (Reporting by Ritsuko Ando; Editing by Gary Hill)
